In 2024 I started finding mushroom patterns irresistible and felt pulled to them. The constant pull of life and death and the incredible role that fungi play in our ecosystem is one that I needed to explore. And then I found out about mushroom prints and got hooked. I forage mushrooms wherever I can, from forest hikes to friends’ yards to knocking on neighbors’ doors to ask if I can harvest their mushrooms in their yards. This is a sample of a few studies that I have been making as I begin to explore this life from death, light in the dark.
